Throughout your journey in the program, you will build an impressive professional art portfolio with your finest pieces. You’ll even have the privilege of presenting your own solo exhibition in the H. Williams Teaching Gallery.

Art Studio majors will also spend time learning traditional and current techniques and theories, as well as a solid background in global art history. You’ll develop a discerning eye for visual languages and complex themes.

Program Details

If you never try you’ll never know. That’s why we give you the opportunity to dive into any discipline, including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and even web design. The program is a safe place to try new things and discover your passions.

CSP features cutting edge facilities for ceramics, photography, digital art, printmaking, sculpture, as well as painting and drawing. Art Studio majors have convenient and free access to those facilities during and outside of classes.

Your Art and Design professors at CSP are passionate creatives who are members of the local and national art community. Their goal is to help you unlock and fulfill your artistic potential.

After graduation, your path is your own. Our graduates excel in every artistic field from animation to graphic design and painting. Those who go on to earn their graduate degree in Fine Arts are also qualified to teach at a college level.
