Majoring in Elementary Education involves the study of pedagogy, or the method and practice of teaching. You’ll develop the skills and insights to become an effective elementary school (K-6) teacher and a lifelong learner. Concordia also offers a variety of pre-school, kindergarten and middle-level (Grades 5-8) specialty endorsements (including Communication Arts/Literature, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) for you to extend your major to include additional grade levels at which you would like to teach.
