Job Fairs & Upcoming Events

Our office participates in various job and internship fairs throughout the year. Below is a list of the fairs we participate in with information on how you can be involved.

Fall 2021

  • Looking for a part-time job? Come to the CSP Fall Part-Time Job Fair to meet with on and off-campus employers offering paid, part-time, non-degree required jobs that accommodate your class schedule.

    Event Details:

    • When: September 8 2021, 10:00 am – 11:30 am CT
    • Where: St. Paul Campus, BEC (Buenger Education Center)
    • Who can attend: All CSP students (please note, most positions are local to campus in St. Paul)
    • Cost: Free!
    • Registration: Registration for students will open late August/early September

  • Undergraduate students from 17 Minnesota Private Colleges who are prepared for early season recruiting and are interested in securing internships and jobs in a corporate setting are invited to attend the Fall 2021 Recruiting Fair! The Minnesota Private Colleges are seeking large Minnesota-based and national companies hiring in the areas of consulting, banking, finance, actuarial science, stats/data science, technology, business analysis, management and leadership training/development, and project management.

    • What: MNPC Fall Recruiting Fair (Jobs and Internships)
    • Who can attend: Undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors and prior semester graduates (May/June/August 2021)
    • Where: Minneapolis Convention Center
    • When: Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from (time TBD)
    • Register: Will open closer to the fair date.

  • The Government & Nonprofit Career Fair allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies. The job fair is open to all CSP students and alumni. There is no cost to attend this event! View employers registered for this event.

    • When: Friday, October 29, 2021, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
    • Where: University of Minnesota- Twin Cities Campus
    • Who can attend:  Undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors, Graduate students, and alumni.
    • Cost: Free!
    • Registration: Will open closer to the fair date.

Spring 2022

  • Looking for a part-time job or to be involved on campus with a club or organization? Come to CSP’s Part-Time Job and Involvement Fair to meet with on and off-campus employers and club leaders!

    Event Details:

    • When: January 12, 2022, 10:00 am – 11:30 am CT
    • Where: St. Paul Campus, BEC (Buenger Education Center)
    • Who can attend: All CSP students (please note, most positions are local to campus in St. Paul)
    • Cost: Free!

  • Join us at the 46th Minnesota Private Colleges’ Job and Internship Fair! By attending the Job Fair, you will have the opportunity to network with 260+ employers who are interested in starting and maintaining employment relationships with Minnesota graduates! Many of the employers who will be present at the fair will be actively recruiting for jobs and internships. Other employers may anticipate hiring in the next six months.

    No matter what the organizations’ objectives may be, as an attendee, you can take advantage of speaking with recruiters from a variety of different industries to learn how your career goals may fit with their hiring needs.

    • When: Thursday, February 24, 2022
    • Where: Minneapolis Convention Center
    • Who can attend: CSP sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all majors.
    • Cost: FREE!

  • CSP students and alumni eligible to teach by December 2021 are invited to attend the 36th annual Minnesota Education Job Fair. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with school districts from across the nation. We encourage you to visit the MN Education Job Fair site prior to registering for the fair to view the districts in attendance, the positions they are hiring for, and their application/interview process.

    Event Details:

    • When: Tuesday, April 12, 2022, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm CT (with a pre-fair session “How to Get a Teaching Job” from 9-9:45 am CT)
    • Where: Minneapolis Convention Center
    • Cost:
      • CSP’s College of Education will pay the registration fee for the first 50 people to register who completed their student teaching or clinical experience during the 2021-2022 academic year (this includes Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 student teachers.) If you completed your student teaching or clinical experience during the 2021-2022 academic year, assume you are within those 50 registrants. We will reach out to you directly should you need to pay.
      • If that does not apply to you, the fair cost is $17 and can be paid here.
    • Who can attend: CSP students and alumni eligible to teach by December 2022
    • Registration: Registration opens February 1, 2022. Register HERE!
